Village of San Jose

The Village of San Jose is a Mayor-Council form of government.

The Council hold their general board meetings every month on the third Monday (unless otherwise posted) beginning at 7:00 pm at Village Hall, 309 S. 2nd Street, San Jose, IL

Committee meetings are held when necessary and postings of such can be found on this website and on the board outside Village Hall.

Residents are welcome to come to the board meetings. If a resident would like to address the board, please contact the Village Clerk (309-247-3332) for inclusion on the agenda. There are Citizen Concerns/Comments forms are available on the night of the meeting for filing if you wish to address the board; however, it is not guaranteed that you will be allowed to address the board on the same night the form is filed.
