Welcome to the official website for the Village of San Jose, Illinois, population 642. San Jose is located on the eastern most boundary of Mason County, the western most boundary of Logan County and one mile south of Tazewell County situated in the heart of Illinois. Established in 1858, we are able to enjoy the rural living while only being approximately 20 minutes to any amenity a person could need. Located half way between Peoria and Springfield our citizens enjoy a quiet town within an easy drive to city life.

The small town life is a quiet and safe environment for retirement or raising a family.
